Ceremony

Ceremony, as the Reception, will take place perched 412m at the very Top of the Rock of Gibraltar, at the the most spectacular and unique location in Gibraltar and in Southern Spain. Located within the Cable Car Top Station complex, the Ceremony will offers 220° views over the Rock and surrounding area.

The Rock of Gibraltar is a visually impressive sight whether you view it from land, air or sea. Formed millions of years ago out of Jurassic limestone it dominates the surrounding landscape.

Known to the Romans as Mons Calpe the history contained within the Rock is extensive. Neanderthal man used its caves for shelter whilst hunting for food in the area. It was captured by the Moors in AD 711 by General Tariq Ibn Zayed who called it 'Jebel Tariq' (Tariq's Mountain) in fact it is hard to name a civilianization who hasn't fought over or inhabited Gibraltar over the years.

To take into consideration:
The access to the Top of the Rock is by Cable Car, at the end of High Street, Red Sands Rd. You don't need to pay any fee as all the cost has been taken care of, but mention you are invited to the wedding.
